Andy Karp, MA is a communications professional with over 20 years of experience in print magazine and Web publishing, advertising and public relations. As a business journalist with Jobson Medical Information, he has interviewed top executives from Fortune 500 companies, profiled leading international corporations, analyzed business and technology trends, written and edited news articles, features and commentary and directed market research. He is a sought-after public speaker who frequently presents seminars at industry conferences and corporate meetings. A New York native, Mr. Karp received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University and his graduate degree in Communications from New York University.

Playing guitar, singing and performing since he was young, Mr. Karp has performed as a solo artist as well as in a variety of bands. Andy is a freelance contributor to Jazz.com and has interviewed jazz luminaries such as Ron Carter, Wynton Marsalis, and Rudy Van Gelder.

Deborah Cohen, LCSW, BCD is a licensed clinical social worker and former music therapist. A private psychotherapist for over 20 years, Ms. Cohen has co-managed an Employee Assistance Program for Con Edison at New York Hospital and served as an adjunct professor at New York University School of Social Work and St. Thomas Aquinas College. She has been part of a senior management team running an inpatient eating disorders unit as well as a research clinician for first responders to 9/11 who then developed Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Ms. Cohen received her undergraduate degree at New York University in music therapy while studying classical guitar. She graduated from Columbia University School of Social Work and continued her post graduate training to receive a certificate from Hunter College School of Social Work in family and marital therapy. She now plays electric bass, sings and maintains a private therapeutic practice in Manhasset and Croton-on-Hudson, New York.
